The other night this girl told me that every guys favorite rapper is Jay-Z. “I dont believe her she needs more people!” I remember the first time i heard Hov, I remember back in 96 stealing my uncles Reasonable Doubt CD. Hov has pushed me through good and bad times, so as I celebrate tonight I’m asking “CAN I LIVE”!
Jay-Z & Usher coming through with the heat!!!!
MTV Sucks for thinking that their horrible round table discussion about who the hottest MC’s in the game right now is relevant. I am just amazed about how these commentators view Hip-Hop! Big Daddy Kane, KRS 1, Rakim, Kool G. Rap are constantly disrespected via this mainstream Hip-Hop nonsense.
Their arguing who the Hottest MC is and have the nerve to have a serious debate about Soulja Boy. Like are you serious, now all of the sudden Soulja Boy is a staple in Hip – Hop. Lyrics were at the bottom of their discussion every time. This debate alone destroys the credibility of this list.
AND WHERE THE F*** IS COMMON ON THE LIST? MTV SUCKS
HOTTEST MC’S IN THE GAME
9. Andre 3000
8. Young Jeezy
7. Lupe Fiasco
6. 50 Cent
5. Snoop Dogg
4. Rick Ross
3. Lil Wayne
1. Kanye West
CONGRATS TO YEEZY, I JUST DON’T UNDERSTAND HOW COMMON IS NOT EVEN ON THE LIST. THE NUMBERS ARE ALL MESSED UP!
I see you Hov!!!
According to Allhiphop.com Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter is in the process of establishing a trust fund for the children of our fallen soldier Sean bell, who was brutally murdered by the New York Police Department.
I am thankful for this news and pray that other entertainers follow suit not just in the case of Sean Bell but in other cases of injustice for young men and women of color. It is important that i note that support for the struggles of our people are not necessarily always meant to be in a monetary form. Often people who have a voice can utilize their platform and speak for many on the ground whose voices often go unheard. Shout out to Jay and all of the other brothers in Hip-Hop who are standing up for their communities. It is crucial that in times like this we band together to create change rather than chopping each other down.
